Participation in Graduation Commencement Activities
It is the expectation of the school community that those students who participate in school-based graduation ceremonies in June are actually in a position to successfully graduate from secondary school.
To this end, each grade 12 student’s academic record will be reviewed towards the end of the third term (April). Those students who, at that time, are not progressing satisfactorily towards achieving their graduation requirements, will be placed on “academic probation” and may be restricted from participating in school-based graduation activities. Parents/guardians will be contacted by letter to inform them of the situation and a request for a meeting between a parent/guardian and the school administration will be made. At this meeting a discussion concerning the conditions by which the student can be removed from academic probation will occur.

- Completed Planning 10 and Grad Transitions
- 90% completed and passing all online courses required for graduation
- Passing all other courses
